Who We Are
ALEXIS QUESSENBERRY
Child Development Major + Psychology Minor
Alexis is a Senior at Cal Poly and has always loved her work with children. She currently works at a preschool in San Luis Obispo and has experience working with children in the foster and adoptive care system, special needs children, and children in low income families. She will be applying for her masters degree in the fall as she hopes to become a child life specialist or a child psychologist.
SOPHIE NOCE
Child Development Major + Psychology Minor
Sophie has a passion for working with children and their families. She has experience working in a preschool and nannying children of varying ages. She hopes to support children between the ages of zero and five and their families in her career with the knowledge she's gained during her education at Cal Poly. After graduating, Sophie plans to pursue a career as a preschool teacher or postpartum doula.
KEELY LUCKE
Child Development Major + Psychology Minor
Keely has grown up with a passion for helping and educating children. After graduating from Cal Poly, she plans to become an elementary school teacher, where she will use her knowledge in child development to make learning fun and enjoyable for her students and families. Outside of the classroom, Keely has experience nannying, volunteering in elementary classrooms, tutoring, and coaching youth softball.
EMMA SAVASO
Child Development Major + Psychology Minor
Emma is a fourth year Cal Poly student whose college career has been dedicated toward her love for working with children. She spends her time aside from school as a distance learning supervisor for three kindergarteners and as a child care provider for several families in SLO County. Emma is currently applying to Multiple Subject Teaching Credential Programs and hopes to stay at Cal Poly to earn her teaching credential. She looks forward to working with students from all different backgrounds.
